Package Overview

This journey across Kinnaur, Lahaul and Spiti follows historic trade routes and high Himalayan valleys. From Naggar and Manali, the ride descends to Rampur along the old Satluj River corridor once used for Indo-Tibetan trade. At Rakchham and Chitkul, the Baspa Valley is steeped in Kinnauri culture at the last Indian village near the border. Kalpa provides sweeping views of Kinnaur Kailash peaks. The route climbs towards Spiti, known for its ancient monasteries and Tibetan cultural links. We stop at Chandra Tal, the glacial moon lake before returning to Manali, completing a loop rich in history and landscapes.

Day 1 — Arrival in Naggar / Manali
Naggar/Manali
Arrive in Naggar or Manali via Volvo coach, settle in and meet your fellow riders. Check the bikes, gear up, and acclimatize. Explore Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery, or relax by the Beas River.
Ride: 25 KM Acclimatization
Day 2 — Ride to Rampur
Naggar/Manali → Rampur
Ride over the scenic Jalori Pass through pine and oak forests, descending into the lush Sutlej Valley. Arrive at Rampur Bushahr, a historic trade hub on the ancient Silk Route.
Approx: 180 KM Jalori Pass
Day 3 — Sangla Valley & Chitkul
Rampur → Sangla → Chitkul
Head into the enchanting Sangla Valley, famous for apple orchards and wooden homes. Continue to Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border.
Approx: 110 KM Baspa River
Day 4 — Ride to Kalpa
Sangla → Kalpa
Ride to Kalpa, perched above the Sutlej, for breathtaking views of the sacred Kinner Kailash massif. Explore mountain hamlets, temples, and monasteries.
Approx: 95 KM Kinner Kailash Views
Day 5 — Ride to Kaza
Kalpa → Kaza
Ride to Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley. Travel through stark landscapes and thrilling roads. Evening free to explore cafes and local markets.
Approx: 210 KM High Altitude Ride
Day 6 — Kaza Local Exploration
Hikkim • Komic • Langza • Chicham • Kye
Explore Spiti gems: Hikkim (world’s highest post office), Komic, Langza Buddha, Chicham bridge, Ki Monastery, and Kibber village.
Approx: 75 KM Local Sightseeing
Day 7 — Ride to Chandra Tal
Kaza → Chandra Tal
Ride to the magical moon-shaped Chandra Tal Lake. Relax in Swiss camps and enjoy surreal night skies.
Approx: 110 KM Camping
Day 8 — Return to Naggar / Manali
Chandra Tal → Manali
Ride back to Manali via Rohtang Pass and the new tunnel. Enjoy the last Himalayan views and celebrate the completion of the loop.

Day 9 — Rest Day & Local Sightseeing
Naggar/Manali
Full rest day. Explore local cafes, temples, art galleries, shopping streets, or simply relax in the mountains.

Day 10 — Homeward Bound
Volvo to Delhi/Chandigarh
Chill for the first part of the day, then take the evening Volvo back to Delhi or Chandigarh.
